Gold Humanism Honor Society Reward Recipient
The Gold Humanism Honor Society recognizes students, residents and faculty who are exemplars of compassionate patient care and who serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine. Members are peer nominated and are the ones that others say they want taking care of their own family. Since its inception in 2002, Gold Humanism Honor Society has grown in influence to become a vital part of medical school and residency training program cultures throughout the US.

Addison Quinones is the embodiment of compassionate patient care and someone who genuinely cares for his patients. His natural empathy allows him to think about patients holistically, considering their day-to-day experiences and emotional well-being. During rotations, his peers noticed how Addison stood out as a strong patient advocate. To note, his advocacy for a patient with sickle cell disease was truly remarkable. He stood up for the patient, pushing for a more thorough evaluation, which resulted in an improved treatment plan. Addison's commitment to patient care is exceptional. He consistently goes above and beyond, arriving early, staying late, and devoting significant time and energy to his patients. He builds strong connections with patients, making them feel comfortable and respected. His level-headedness, kindness, and advocacy make him a doctor that anyone would want.
